Want to be a Virtual Assistant?
It's not always easy to make the switch from your regular day job, specially when you're just starting out. Working as a virtual assistant can be very rewarding once you get the hang of it. But like any other job, you have to start somewhere.
A common misconception on becoming a Virtual Assistant is that you need to have experience. If you have these skills, then we want you!
If you're from the corporate industry you definitely have these skills. If you've just graduated from college, surely these are things you've done in school! Students who have these skills can apply too!
No travel expenses, no commutes, no formal office clothes, better work-life balance, more time with family, take your work anywhere!
We provide high quality, trained, and vetted virtual assistants to its existing long term clients. Most of our clients are SAAS (software as a service) companies, entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses. Every Virtual Assistant is handpicked and goes through an intense training and vetting process before they could start working with a client.
Our approach is different. Our VAs are trained, mentored, and coached to ensure high-quality work, adapt to online tools and applications without difficulty, and work independently without the need for micromanaging. We only take a few VAs to mentor and train at a time because we believe in quality versus quantity. Furthermore, we like to think of ourselves like a small family. Every VA we work with is fully supported from onboarding and ongoing work with the client wherever they may need help.
Hi! I'm Rianna! I started working remotely back in 2012. I had to manage a team of account managers from 5 different countries so I had to adapt with the technology we had at the time -- Google applications and Skype! I built an entire system to train, onboard, and manage teams using the tools I had back then.
Fast forward to today, after working for more than 8 years as an online business manager / online project manager for various organizations, my focus changed from managing people and projects to creating systems and processes using the most exciting project management platforms and online collaboration tools available now.
What started as a change in focus has grown into an extended service to my clients -- providing high quality VAs that I personally train and mentor to use their systems and processes that I helped design and build.
Most of my clients are Software as a Service (SaaS) organizations, entrepreneurs, and small businesses shifting to bring their systems online. Most of them have been my clients for years and some are clients I’ve worked with in the past. I take pride in maintaining close relationships with my clients. By providing top-notch quality work, my team ensures longer lasting close relationships with the clients and vice versa.
This is a great opportunity for aspiring VAs who are just starting out, who want to build their skillset, and get their feet wet -- with loving guidance. Getting yourself started as a Virtual Assistant is hard work. Working from home doesn't mean it's "easy" just because you're at home. It has its benefits, yes; but you still need to do actual real work. You can't slack off just because you're at home.
If you don't have the mindset, ambition, and motivation, you might have a hard time building your career as a virtual assistant. It's tough competition out there and you need the tenacity to adapt, continuously learn skills, and most importantly stand out from everyone else trying to get into this industry.
Like it or not, starting your career as a virtual assistant is like starting your own business. You sell your services, your skills, and what you bring to the table. Getting things done is great, but converting potential clients is first and foremost your goal.
